General Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 18-February-2026
1. Definitions
“Ares Property Care”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to Ares Property Care operating in Invermere, British Columbia.
“Client” refers to the individual or entity requesting or receiving services.
“Services” refers to lawn care, landscaping, property maintenance, seasonal services, snow removal, and related services provided by Ares Property Care.
2. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are based on the property condition at the time of assessment. If site conditions differ materially, additional charges may apply.
Unless explicitly stated, quotations do not include disposal fees beyond standard green waste, materials, permit costs, or subcontracted specialty services.
Acceptance of a quotation constitutes agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
3. Scheduling & Access
The Client agrees to provide safe and clear access to the property on scheduled service days.
Pets must be secured prior to arrival.
If access is not available at the scheduled time, a service fee may apply.
Weather conditions may require rescheduling.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Overdue invoices may be subject to interest at 2% per month (24% annually) in accordance with British Columbia regulations.
Ares Property Care reserves the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.
5. Deposits
Deposits may be required for large projects, material purchases, or seasonal contracts.
Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered or scheduling is committed.
6. Changes to Scope of Work
Client-requested changes after commencement of work may result in additional charges.
Additional work will be billed at agreed project rates or standard hourly rates.
7. Property Conditions & Liability
The Client is responsible for marking irrigation systems, invisible fences, and underground utilities.
Ares Property Care is not responsible for damage to unmarked systems, hidden objects, or pre-existing property damage.
Proof of commercial liability insurance is available upon request.
8. Seasonal Services
Snow removal services are subject to weather conditions and defined accumulation thresholds.
Lawn and property services may be adjusted based on environmental conditions.
9. Cancellations
One-time services may be cancelled with 24 hours’ notice.
Recurring service contracts require written notice for cancellation.
Prepaid seasonal contracts may be partially refundable at our discretion, less services rendered.
10. Satisfaction & Warranty
Concerns must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.
Warranty does not apply to weather-related damage, acts of nature, or improper maintenance by the Client.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and applicable federal laws of Canada.
12. Digital Communication
By submitting forms through our website, the Client agrees to receive communication regarding quotes, scheduling, and services.
We do not sell or distribute personal information.
